Certain jellyfish can even light up during the night time

Most people only know one thing about jelly fish: stay away from them.
Jellyfish are found in every ocean and are have roamed the seas for more than 650 million years, making them one of the oldest animals (older than dinosaurs).
Even though their tentacles are electrified, their "umbrella" heads are full of protein and are even considered a delacacy in certain countries (quitely add that to you "to-do" list).
Certain jellyfish can even light up during the night time and create a beautiful border across the shore...like natures candles.

Surfing is an incredible workout

Surfing is an incredible workout...you can tell by how great all surfers look while they're in the ocean!
A desire to be out in the water, the freedom to conquer a great force of nature that can push you where you have never been before.
But surfing without great waves is like hot wine (totally not cool), therefore we decided to see what are some of the best places for surfers: Gold Coast, Australia. Mentawai Islands, Indonesia. Jeffreys Bay, South Africa.
All cities have held international surfing competitions and are hometowns for some of the best professional surfers in the world.

snow art competitions

As spring draws closer and closer, the sun starts kissing our faces as we wave goodbye to the cruel winds and harsh temperatures. But even though the sun is starting to peak out, it still means it's going to take a while for it to melt all of the snow.
So, some people decided they would take this opportunity to have a little bit of fun with it. Just think about that snowman that you built as a kid...now imagine it being 50 times bigger and looking like it belonged in a museum in Paris. Many countries even hold "snow art competitions" and one of the most entries this year has been an enflated snow sculpture of Psy (the guy who sings Gangnam Style).

Home Sweet Home

We all like the colorful and beautiful gardens that we see, but rarely do any of us actually want to put up with the hassle and trouble of creating our own luscious garden.
Water them, feed them, clean up their surroundings...it's like having another child (except this one you get to keep outside of the house).
So, a Brazilian company decided to create a garden called "Home Sweet Home" where they cut old soda bottles and filled them with plants which took care of the whole messy situation and, let's face it, created a garden that looks much better than our own gardens ever could.

largest elephant populations, including Angolia, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe

f they say monkeys are the brothers and sisters of the human race, then elephants are like our cousins.
They have many human characteristics (one of which includes eating a lot :). Elephants are one of the few animals who can actually recognize themselves in the mirror and are very family friendly creatures.

When they travel, they travel in groups because they want to stay close to their loved ones as long as they can. They are also very sentimental, for when someone in their pack dies, they cry and mourn over the relative for days before migrating forward.
If you want to catch a closer to see if we really are anything like these mamoth creatures (or because the baby elephants are so adorable), then check out some countries with the largest elephant populations, including Angolia, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Built in the 16th century it is known for its artistic styling with large ramparts, series of gates and cobbled paths. Inside the fort one must see the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace), and the Sukh Niwas where a cool climate is artificially created by winds that blow over the water cascade within the palace. the Hollywood area of Los Angeles, California.

The Hollywood Bowl is a modern amphitheater (like the Greek amphitheaters but...bigger) and is located in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles, California.
It also just so happens to be the largest amphitheater in the country and can sit 18,000 people for any music performance. But, my guess is that most people don't even go for the show; the go for the drive to the theater. The road leading up to the amphitheater is shaped like a musical note. Coincidence? I think not!

gondolas on Burano Island

There are a lot of channels and gondolas on Burano Island, but it became famous for its vivid buildings painted with various colours.
Nobody knows whose idea it was to colour the buildings. The legend says that
it were fishermen, who decided to do it. They got tired of searching for their houses and people turned them into the bright constructions, which are seen from afar.
You can see blue, red, yellow, green and even pink houses there, but the Island's citizens can't choose the colours - government selects them itself.
